Not as in-depth as I would have hoped but hard to moan over the price !

I have to review this for what it is. 100 property investment tips.

Excellent book for beginners – just buy it!!

This isn’t a great little book – very readable and makes loads of essential points without going into excessive detail. Just what any newcomer needs and I’d consider this a complete no brainier. Apart from some great advice, many of the points offer links to websites that go into a lot more depth or can help with the particular aspect. I found myself spending half my time registering with suggested website and checking out various property assessment tools and forums that I ovule never have known exist otherwise. As an example in the first chapter you are given a link to register the purchase of this book for which you get a bonus tip sheet which includes details of how to get involved with local networking groups where you can attend free meetings with others trying to do the same and share ideas and advice – something I hadn’t even thought of but that could really save a lot of time in terms of research.

Great little book!

Found out about this little book by chance when I heard about Rob’s property podcast by chance while searching for another book on Amazon. After giving a try of one of their podcast I totally enjoyed it so much and found both Rob very knowledgeable + honest in sharing their knowledge/experience in property investment and when the Rob’s recommended the book on the podcast I simply had to get it. And trust me, this book did not disappoint, I only recently started to get into property investment and this book gave me a lot of good tips + it’s so easy to read. I will totally recommend it to everyone. Keep up the good work Rob & Rob!!!

I found this book to be an excellent starting point for research

As a potential property investor, I found this book to be an excellent starting point for research. It will not tell you everything you need to part with your hard-earned cash and go out and buy property. It does provide plenty of food for thought and may serve to put off people who are only half-hearted in their endeavours to become property investors. For those who are a little more serious, it is purely a starting point. There is not a great deal of meat on the bones, but the title of the book does tell the reader that there are 100 Property Investment Tips. So, from that point of view, it does exactly what it states that it will.

I picked up a lot of good tips from this book in no time and it …

Really clear, accessible advice. I picked up a lot of good tips from this book in no time and it helped boost my confidence as an inexperienced property investor. Some of the tips are money savers, others are more fundamental and help you to work out your target market and test how much you know about the locations of your investments. An easy way into the subject but which makes no big claims or promises. Partners very well with “Beyond the Bricks” which I must admit, I have only dipped into as yet, but which provides you with examples of the many approaches to property investment out there.

Excellent and easy to understand tips

Having read the reviews I bought this book along with a few others so that I do lots of research and gain as much knowledge as possible along with viewings lots of different types of properties, this book has assisted the process immensely. Each tip is easy to read and understand together with website addresses to assist you even further. Walking into the world of buying properties as an investment is not to be taken lightly and this books has tips and resources that will make your journal to success that little bit easier. For the price it’s listed, it’s worth every penny even if you walk away with a few tips ( though all tips are great abs thought worthy ).

Informative, concise, and gets straight to the point – perfect.

At last! A guide to property investment that I could fully understand! I’ve been toying with the idea of investing in property for quite some time. This book has guided me in the right direction. It was eminently readable, informative, concise and gets straight to the point. I feel much more confident about moving on with my investment plans, having read this. The authors really seem to know their stuff and they put it across in a way that makes it all crystal clear. I learned an awful lot from it and I will be recommending it to all my friends – get off the fence and invest! It’s the only sensible way to go.

An easy read, with lots of good information; money well spent!

An easy read, with lots of good information; money well spent! Before budding landlords waste money on the many courses out there offering to pass on ‘the secrets’ of how to make money in property, I would read Rob Dix first, and maybe save yourself some money!

Does what it says etc

Don’t get this hoping to have an in-depth understanding of property investment by the end of it. Get it for what it is – a cheap and interesting “Oh I see” set of tips for people like me starting to be interested in property. I hadn’t heard of the property blog run by the authors, where it seems you can also get this information. But for me it has done what it set out to do which is to get me interested so I will listen to the blog/podcast and get involved – all for £3.99.
