Amazon Associates – Progress from 2019 to 2020

OK, it’s time to give an update on Amazon Associates. In 2019, I was really just starting out with Amazon Associates. After a slow start in the early part of the year, things picked up and with a strong month in December, the final total was 74 ordered items to a value of £2,596.73 and a commission of £146.49. Average order value came in at £35.10. Calculating this income monthly, it’s £12.21 a month. Alright, that doesn’t sound great, but it was just the start. Latest Affiliate Earnings Report

I often struggle with the question of whether I should publish my income or not. Something in me still thought that it was  bragging, but I now realise it’s important to show that the systems i’m writing about actually work and that I’m actually taking part and practising what I preach. Jan 2020 – Site Hosting and Maintenance

One of the great benefits of being a Wealthy Affiliate Premium member is the fact you can host blogs and websites for other clients. This is one i’m hosting at the moment. They pay me for hosting and for keeping their domain in order, as well as managing their website, keeping the WordPress version current, routing their email and generally keeping their web presence in tip-top order. This was my very first annual commission payment. I have built and host a website for a client that dates back to contacts I had when I was still working. The client updates their own website.
