Having listened to most of the property hub podcasts I only bought this to support the author not thinking I would get anything out of it, but I was wrong. Lots of useful information presented in a logical way, I am going to re-read it again. Highly recommended to any property investor.
I read Rob’s first book – Property Investment for Beginners – which inspired me to actually get in to property investment in the first place (last September- 2017). I’ve bought two properties since (it’s now May 2018)
Best property book I’ve ever read
I ordered this from Amazon and finished reading it within 24 hours. Is incredibly easy to read and informative and has really helped my crystallise what I want to do and how to go about it. I have faffed around for the last 2 years unable to conclude what to do with some funds I’ve inherited. I’m financially savvy but didnt want the hassle of either being a landlord or doing a house up. Being a professional property investor is perfect and I am now working on my strategy and project plan, so thanks for putting me on the right path with your book.
An easy read, with lots of good information
An easy read, with lots of good information; money well spent! Before budding landlords waste money on the many courses out there offering to pass on ‘the secrets’ of how to make money in property, I would read Rob Dix first, and maybe save yourself some money!
Exactly the book I was looking for – Excellent
Easily one of the best property books you will ever read. Each topic is covered in just enough detail as to keep the book relatively short yet immensely insightful. It gets straight to the point and consistently delivers the most useful and time critical information on each subject. A must-read for all who want to get into property investment in the UK.
Cracking Read (as always..)
First and foremost, I am a Rob Dix fan…. I have read all of his other books which were great and this new one is no exception. Written with wit and wisdom, and the fact that I am turning into a Property Geek too, makes this book an easy read! I am currently about half way through and read about 4-5 pages everyday on my lunch break to “take me away” from my day time job to read up and concentrate on my passion – property investment. I have recently decided to seriously consider property investment as a permanent source of income which hopefully will allow me retire early and the books that Rob Dix writes, alongside his excellent podcasts (Property Geek and The Property Podcast with Rob Bence) are most excellent sources of information to assist me with that. If you are looking at property investment yourself and just starting out, then buy this book – you won’t go wrong!!!
This book and the accompanying online resources break down what can be a daunting and new realm for most people into something fun, easy to understand and achievable. I’ve learnt and understood more from this book quicker than I have spending much more money on courses. I’d definitely highly recommend this for anyone looking to understand property investments.
An easy to read and follow example of how to start …
I’m in the early stages of investing in property and Rob Dix’s books have been a superb guide into how to start, maintain and hopefully, succeed in this industry. Especially in these challenging times! I’ve been through Property Investment for Beginners, Property Investment How To Survive & Thrive In The New World Of Buy-To-Let (this book), Beyond The Bricks and now How To Be Landlord. They will remain on my office shelf for some time (with the additional updates) and be a source of regular reference as I progress.
Super helpful & a joy to read
This book gives you hands on practical advice on how to build up your own property portfolio. It’s been a God send and has helped my wife and I avoid some of the common pitfalls newer investors often make. I’ve also started listening to The Property Podcast which Rob co-hosts and complements the info in his book extremely well.
The best property investing book I’ve read by far
Many of the property books I’ve bought are actually just books attempting to sell you expensive courses, mentors or other resources and very little actual useful advice. I was expecting this to be the same, but I’m very pleased to say that there’s absolutely no attempt to sell anything. It’s all just great advice with no ulterior motive.
